Increasing at a fast rate

In blog on April 28, 2008 at 10:13 pm

It’s the third week of school, and I can’t believe how fast it flies. And you must be wondering just what is increasing at a fast rate, well, I’d say it’s the amount of fun in school. As I know more about my classmates, the time spent in school is now more worth it. At least I can learn and have fun at the same time.

Well, I must say it is much much better than the previous year, obviously. School work is managable so far, we have quite a few considerbly interesting subjects.

Moreover, blogging mood is at a new low this month, I have virtually no mood to blog but for the sake of my blog, I’ll just blog a little at a time.

Singapore’s MRT is FAR from overcrowded.

But I wonder if we will reach this state one day. Thank god I’ll be driving by then!

Second day of school.

In blog on April 15, 2008 at 10:54 pm

Yes, it’s the second day of school. No, I am not going to blog with similar titles until I reach like “Third day of school”, “fourth day of school” until day hundred or something like that. It’s just that I don’t have the brain juice to think of something interesting or more appropriate.

Well, today is the day I found out we are going through P.A.C.C and STATS all over again, no, wait, I forgot to  mention that we are going through them with INCREASED difficultly. If last year was on medium difficulty, this year would be on hard difficulty. They’re just P.A.C.C and S.T.A.Ts with a much cooler sounding name, Financial and Management Accounting and Quantitative Analysis respectively. Pretty sad, huh?

As hard as it may sound, there is still a need to do well for such subjects, whatever it takes! Even if I had to cut off the internet connection if I sort of, sway out of the tracks, due to addiction, I would do it.

I would also have to dedicate a paragraph to sort of mention how fun a chat I had in school today. Lectures were also pretty fun but one particular lecture was pretty boring. Ironically, it is a period where laughs come out of nowhere! We have different voices coming out suddenly and it was followed by nothing but evil laughters!

Anyways, other than school, there is something very unfortunate that happened. The Singapore Flyer’s Official Opening Ceremony had taken place today and I have no idea about it until I read the newsletter from the Singapore Flyer at approximately 6.30pm, yes, after the long bus ride home. It starts at 5 and ends at 10.30. If only they had sent me the email like yesterday, I would have brought my camera along and went all the way to Marina Bay, I would have ended up with a shot of PM Lee Hsien Loong! Perhaps, even having a chance to win the photography contest!

Oh well, perhaps I would have to wait for another opportunity, perhaps only when the second flyer opens. Wait, that would never ever happen. *waits for the official opening of Marina Bay Sands eagerly*

One perfect shot out of the 100 attempts!

Fun

In blog on April 14, 2008 at 11:56 pm

It’s the first day of school and it started very nicely except for that my headset battery ran flat after 3 minutes of usage. Apparently I forgot to charge it after receiving it back from Marcus. Anyways, school was fun today, the new classmates are more or less fun-loving and funny, am really looking forward to knowing them more!

The new modules sounds very interesting indeed. So far, the teachers that taught us today are totally superb. Funny and interesting.

Perhaps that’s all I am going to blog about today, seriously exhausted!

Anyway, gonna check this out, something that is ringing in my mind right now.

Different Types Of “Starts”

In blog on April 13, 2008 at 11:59 pm

Talking about a new period of time of our lives, we always describe it as a start of something new, maybe that something might be a new lifestyle, a new home, a new school or entering another stage of education. However, we, or rather, myself, always give it a usual description, a * start.

The * can be:

  • new
  • happy
  • crappy
  • usual
  • motivated
  • whatever you think of

The question is, what type of a start do I want?

How do I make sure good starts doesn’t just fall the moment it starts to gain momentum?

An hour or two @ Harbourfront

In blog on April 13, 2008 at 11:50 pm

7/4/2008

Why Harbourfront? Why all the way from Serangoon to Keppel Road?

It’s because someone from Germany asked a favor from me to take photos of the cruise ship, Maxim Gorkiy, which will be making the last stop in Singapore or something like that, and that person happens to be a collector of the photos of that ship. Well, let’s just do someone that favor eh? Since Vivocity is full of activities anyway. Read the rest of this entry »

Bon Voyage, Holidays.

In blog on April 9, 2008 at 3:46 pm

Just four more days and I’ll hit the MRT daily and I don’t really like that. It’s time to struggle with the crowd again. Well, to those comfortable office workers commuting by the MRT daily ever since we had a holiday, prepare for a hostile invasion because we, the students, are about to start school and please, brace yourself for the increased squeeziness and the lack of oxygen when that eventually happens.

While I still have the comfort of my Father’s and Sisters car, commuting is never frustrating except the very crowded peak hours. To be honest, I was almost in my sister’s car daily and I can really see many drivers who think we owe them a living. On the other hand, tons of good drivers are on the road, they just don’t have the opportunity to display their courtesy or whatever they can display. I am not intending to make this post so transportation-oriented, I just feel no one is just going to give up their cars, and hit the public transport where we have to endure a struggle for space and time. I am very sure I will choose the private way in the future.

Going on, there are many memorable events that happened during this holidays, I’ll make a very small list below:

Round the corner

In blog on April 8, 2008 at 2:55 pm

Commencement of school is just around the corner, just a few days left for enjoyment and I can’t believe it. Haven’t been blogging for like a month or so because the blogging mood is just not there. A very good way to describe my shock of how fast time flies would be this video below, TOTALLY SHOCKING.
