Day Off

In blog on November 30, 2007 at 11:59 am

I had to get away from all this shit like being hit by horrendous stress levels due to the shitloads of projects, exams, CCA, GEMS, personal Life, competition, constipat… on and on.

I feel breathless! It’s like I’m born to do stuff like this over and over and over again but in the end it doesn’t really work out. Damn this and damn that because everything is damned! Is this what life is about? Is this what Polytechnic is about?

DAMN! I’m not finished with this shit. Read on!

Mr Ching was going on and on while the others were doing the same, chatting on and on. No one understood him, nevertheless, we copied the notes down for self-study. That shows h0w clear Mr Ching was.

Unfortunately, we were the also the one going on and on and on and on. Well to me it’s probably the best lecture ever! We chatted about our project stuff, our studies etc.  It was funny like hell.

We had a break after that. However, it was a conversation I shouldn’t be involved in. What I heard was girls talk. Well, I won’t mention names here but I doubt any of these people I am talking about would read this anyway. Well basically, they talked about girls and how they dump them afterwards. They mentioned how some girls they used to like due to their looks eventually turned out to be ugly. It’s a conversation with guys who treat girls like commodity, which is something they should be ashamed of. However, there was no sign of them being ashamed or whatsoever. They can just go on and on and on, while I stood there surprised and felt so out of place.

What followed after that was almost ruined when the others decided to accompany one of them to smoke. Well, of course I strongly disagree and well, decided to stay with my precious laptop. Eventually they stayed.

Lecture followed after that, boring like hell, well, since when will we actually have fun in Econs?

Took a bus home after that, and seriously, the bus ride is getting longer day by day. It used to take only an hour to reach home but now another 20 minute was added to the total duration. A waste of precious time indeed.

That’s all for today, see ya!

The Perfect Night

Dimly lit lamp.

Blank skies.

A laptop.

What more could I ask for?

Out of water?

In blog on November 27, 2007 at 10:35 pm

Is the steam engine running out of water?

Just want to ask myself this question, again and again.

It seems like the motivation I had, had dissipated.

Jogging feels like chore and doing school work feels like a routine already.

The last few hours was just flipping a few pages of the PACC textbook. Successfully absorbed most of the points but the drive to try out the questions was absent.

Something I feel is back. Maybe it’s just bad nostalgia. The days I had in secondary school when I feel so confused.

Confused what is happening. Not facing reality and having super-low confidence level.

I’m just not doing what I should do.

Opportunities might exist. However, changing might to does is a very challenging task.

Questions about what people think of me is being asked involuntarily every minute, or worse, every second. Whereas answers are nowhere to be found.

Being shy for no particular reason is in my blood.

Courage is just not there, COURAGE!

Weird as it seems, I can only sleep at 1 am every night. Anything earlier than would be dedicated to casual surfing of the net and stuff. To kill time, I’ll do some short blogging.

There’s simply too many topics to write about. I’ve deleted at least 9 sentences each being the start of an individual topic like how my FOM project progress sucked and why it sucked ; how internet is becoming such a boring thing ; how much things change since 2 weeks ago and lastly, how much fun my family is. Maybe if I can’t decide, I should just postpone this till tomorrow when I have time to decide.

For the time being, sleep!

That’s what I call project work.

In blog on November 24, 2007 at 12:52 am

November 23 is the day to remember, it’s the day I actually experience serious project work.

After ITAB, My FOM group made our way to Pizza Hut at Bukit Timah plaza, a place that I have not heard of, honest. It is due to the fact that I live in the north-east region, far from Bukit Timah, not to mention Dover. Surprisingly, the place looks and feels quite modern, though the facade doesn’t really qualify, by today’s standard that is. The Pizza Hut branch here is very new, compared to J8 and Heartland mall. Rebecca said they had just finished renovations. Great lighting, comfortable sofas and seats plus two power plugs. We would have given Pizza hut a good scores if we are doing IDEAS, but this is FOM.

Nothing much today.

Boring as usual.

So, I’ll just post a little update.

Hmm, noticed a new banner? Looks good to me. I’ve removed the old one as it’s kind of getting messy. I know it’s about the Operation Change Me thingy, but it’ll still go on, no plan to destroy that plan or whatever, it’s all in my mind!

Secondly, I’ve created a new Facebook account. So whoever out there can add me. Glad to know that Facebook isn’t another Frienster clone(thank god!) . This gave me a valid reason to have another go at online social networking websites. However, I have not added much details yet, will do when I have some time to spare, which is quite impossible nowadays.

Other than that, just to showcase a cool little program that creates statistics of your entire iTunes library. Kinda fun, here’s mine:

4840 play counts! Interesting! Add a comment if you want the program!

See ya!

Comfort Zone

In blog on November 20, 2007 at 2:11 am

I know it’s weird.

Two separate blog posts. 10-20 minutes time difference. And maybe different tone.

But the reason is that I’m in my comfort zone now. Which means, the previous blog post was written in a non-comfort zone.

Yes I know it’s confusing, I’ll explain.

Oh Life.

In blog on November 20, 2007 at 1:35 am

Was having a short chat with Kenneth about Poly in school just now. We were talking about how Polytechnic doesn’t turn out as fun as we expected. Reminiscing about the great great time we had in Secondary School. Maybe it’s just first year, maybe it’s just our not-so-fun classmates, maybe we will have better classmates next year. Maybe. But the last point better come true, better classmates next year! I should definitely start praying now!
